How to Get Started with GandyDancing, Clog Dancing and Kendall Dance Mothers
In the next few months, you’ll be able to start taking part in Gandy dancing, clog dancing and Kendell dance moms classes.
The Gandy Dance Program started in the 1980s with the support of the Dance Council of Greater Cleveland.
It is the oldest dance program in the nation.
In the 1990s, the Dance Alliance of Greater Greater Cleveland and the Cleveland Clinic partnered with the Cleveland Foundation to provide support for the program.
In 2014, the Cleveland State University, Ohio Health System, Ohio Department of Health and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists teamed up to offer Gandy dance classes.
In 2018, the Gandy Dancers of Greater Ohio, the Cuyahoga County Public Health Department and the Greater Cleveland Area Health Department partnered to offer Kendell Dance Moms classes.
